ihave been taking the 1/2 pill for aprox. 5 days--
i lost 6lbs in days with the whole and now since i've been doing the 1/2 pill i'm actually up a 1/2 lb.
today i increased it to the full pill due to the stop of weight loss and i feel fine except for constipation, which i am taking metamucil,flax capsules and just started senna capsules and in desperation suppositories, but i don't want to be dependent on that.

Hi Patti, Metamucil is a great source of fiber however you need at least 35-40grams, per day. That is quite a bit of Metamucil. To alleviate the constipation you probably need 45-50grams per day. THATS a lot of Metamucil. Good luck, dawg

Prunes Girl! Try prunes!and again lots of water.Same thing happened to me a couple years ago when I first tried phentermine.

I have had a lot of anxiety too. It almost feels like I can't take a deep breath sometimes. I do believe that my anxiety is improving though, especially since I quit caffeine.

Constipation is another big problem of mine. I have found that drinking lots of water helps. I have also found that taking milk of magnesia helps. Try taking a small amount, like one tablespoon, every morning. I have read on the internet that it is safe and non-habit forming because it is not a stimulant laxative.

I can't take a whole pill b/c it's too strong. And remember, it doesn't have to be a choice between 1/2 or whole. I take 1/2 and another little teeny piece. Ok, I'm not loosing more weight now but I'm not gaining. It isn't going to be a magic pill forever. One has to change one's eating and exercise habits also.

Anxiety may mean you are taking too much. Or are you eating too many carbs? Carbs and sugar cause me major anxiety. How about consumption of water or vitamins?

Try taking masnesium for the constipation. It's HIGHLY recommended by some of the ladies on here! Can't hurt to try it at all. From what I understand, you pretty much can't take to much of it. Any excess will be gotten rid of through you so that's what makes it work. If you do get a bit more than you need, you'll just have a looser BM...Good luck!
