I have been sick with bronchiolitis for 3days, should i stop taking phentermine until i am better. does it make any difference? Is it safe to take with my Albuterol inhaler? Any advice appreciated

Hi, mya! Were you prescribed albuterol for the time being, or do you have it all the time for asthma and need it more often at the moment? I have asthma and use albuterol as a recue inhaler and also in a nebulizer. I don't use either very often, though, maybe once a month. Albuterol can significantly raise your heartrate and blood pressure, especially if you don't normally take it. I'm no doctor, but my guess would be not to take them together.

Hello mya, I am sorry to hear that you are ill. There are not any drug interactions between Albuterol and phentermine. You should not have any problem using the albuterol. It may be a good idea to temporarily stop the phen, while you are feeling so poorly. It sounds as if you could use some rest and allow time to recover. I dont think that is a very real possibility while on phen. Of course, if you have children it probably is not even a remote possibility. Ultimately, of course that is your decision.
