5-HTP and B-12 and Phen

:-D I am now taking 5-HTP and B-12 with my phentermine. Any suggestions on when to take all of this? Should I take it all together in the morning? Supposed to take the 5-HTP with food, but need to take Phen BEFORE eating. Does anyone take all of this? Any suggestions?
Have you noticed any results?

The only thing I take with the phentermine is B12, I take that with the pill each morning. I am not sure what 5-HTP is... Can you explain?

I take a time release multivitamin with mine. your b-12 is it a shot or just under the tonge

I don't know exactly what 5-HTP stands for, but it is a supplement that comes in pill form (you can get it at GNC or any health store) and it is supposed to help with tolerance to Phentermine. It is thought that it increases serotonin in the body and is supposed to help with depression, sleep and appetite control. Have only been on it for 2 days so far, but something is definitely giving me energy. I don't know if it is the 5-HTP or the B-12, but since I've added both to my Phen...I do feel a kick. I am doing the B-12 under the tongue things.

That sounds like something that I should get as well, just to help reduce the side effects of the Phentermine. I take B-12 as a pill, is the under your tongue version better?

5-HTP or 5 hydroxytryptophan is very similar to tryptophan which leads to serotonin production. Our serotonin levels help control our appetite.When taken in conjunction w/phentermine it gives it a little boost. You shouldn't take 5-HTP without eating first as it has been known to cause an upset stomach. :eek: dawg

I really love this stuff too. I am a believe and a taker of 5-htp, b-12 and phentermine. I dont know what or which one helps me with me sleeping, moods and engery. But I can tell you this it works for me. I am in better moods and alot more engery than I had in YEARS. I am 37 yr young now (note YOUNG LOL) and I am in better health than I have been in years. I have gain some of my weight back but that because of a surgery. I am in the progress of getting it off and my other weight I need to loss. I do know this my hubbys says I am not bitchey anymore (sorry for the word but it the truth about me) I have notice myself that the kids or him doesn't get on my nerves as fast as they use to over nothing. No matter how long the dr keeps me on phentermine I will always keep taking my 5-htp and b-12 for the rest of my life. I have other health issues that I have to take meds for every day so them are nothing to add to. Now I take my phentermine in the morning with 2 - 50 mg of 5-htp and my b-12 under the tongue. Then I take 2 more 5-htp with my super. That how I take mine. But I also take CLA too I take that one pill at lunch and then another one at dinner time.
