Hi, I am new to the site and to the phen pills as well.

first things first....I need to loose about 35-40 lbs. I have gained that much over the past 4 years and gone up 5 pants sizes. A "healthy" weight for my height would be 40 lbs away....I will take 30 if I am lucky.

so....I placed my order online, gave my dr info all that good stuff. I actually ordered the 37.5 mg tabs in hopes of being able to break them in half and take 18.75 mg once a day.

This would help my rx last longer and the 37.5 mg pills cost me about half as much as the 15 mg would have. I had a few concerns, so I havent' started taking the pills yet. I have tried several otc/herbal pills, and HATED the empty stomach buzz feeling. I SO want to avoid that. I am also worried about sleeping. A friend of mine said that if she took her pill after 7 am, she couldn't sleep until after 3 am. while the buzz might help to counter act that, I don't WANT to be up until 3 am... and I know it will affect me differently.

So...am I going to make my heart explode by breaking these babies in half? I read breaking in half messes with the time released effect causing you to absorb all the pill at once giving you the horrid super buzz and the effect wears off sooner leaving you starving by 4 pm.... any suggestions?

Hi efreel, The 37.5mg tablets are not time released. It is perfectly safe to break them in half. dawg

I have never taken more than a half of a 37.5mg. I had no trouble sleeping as long as I didnt take it after 1 pm.

OH NO... So I just opened my bottle to crack these puppies in half...and there are NO blue dots in the middle of the pill. I got ripped off didn't I? They came from a pharmacy in Maine...

They say MP 273 with the m & p connected....they are 14 mm long, 5 mm across at the thickest point and 4 mm thick. They are scored on the OTHER side from the mp 273 marking.

No, hon, You do not have fake pills. The MP, connected is Mutual Pharmaceuticals and it is a generic phentermine. Many people think the same thing once they break the tablet in half. You can be sure that you have phentermine. :razz: dawg :-) :-)
