Some people do have a natural tolerance to them I dont' know why, but that's just how it does with some people. I know when I first started taking Phen, I started onthe 30mg. I didn't feel anything effects at all after 2 weeks. I just have a high tolerance to them. When I switched to the 37.5's I was good to go again, but that was short lived as well. It just depends on your body make-up.

As for the water, anyone trying to lose weight needs to drink alot of water. yes, it helps to keep you feeling full, but it helps to replenish any water weight you lose, and keep you hydrated from working out. My doctor, BTW, told me that his only requirement w/ the Phen was to work out atleast 30 minutes 3-4 times a week. I did more, but that was is only requirement. Are you working out at all?

Yes,you need to eat with the Phen. If not your body will go into starvation mode and will litterally start feeding on itself. Sounds nasty, but that's how it works. Food does make a difference because if gives you the energy you need to get through the day. In some ways it does help the Phentermine work more. And, eating 4-5 mini-meals a day help's to speed up your metabolism also.

with the 37.5 mg, you don't have to take them 1/2 at a time. If you take the whole thing in the morning, you could get a stronger effect.-that's how I take mine. Most people who take them by halves do so because the effect is TOO strong, so they break it up. Also please be aware of your trigger foods as far as the hunger goes. For alot of people, carbohydrates are the culprit. It's a roller coaster- food=insulin spike=insulin drop=more cravings. Ian has lots of great posts here explaining the exact science of it, but those foods are sweets or starches. These reactions and the hunger they cause may be overridden by the neuroligic effect phen is supposed to have if it has been a problem in your blood chemistry for a long time.
