Hello,
quick question. I ordered Tenuate 2 months ago from CC Basket, 3 month supply $189.00, and it did not work for me at all, and I stopped taking it after 3 weeks. I went to my doctor, I told him, and he gave me a prescription for meridia 10mg, and said if that did not work he could bump me up to the 15mg next time. So after a week and a 1/2 of that not working, and not wanting to waste another $127.00, I decided to try to take 2 of the 10mgs just to see if that would work. Another week and a 1/2 later, I have lost 3 lbs. I have lost the 3lbs because I have been using the treadmill and walking 4 mins quickly, then jogging for 1 minute. I do that for a mile each day. So two meridia pills have not worked for me at all. What is the likeliness that phen will work for me if I buy that? Is there a chance that nothing will work for me?? I kinda feel like I am immune to losing weight.... What do you think?

I am by no means an expert on this, and I've never tried the meridia or the tenuate.
That being said, the only two things I have ever used in my life, and I have tried MANY, that actually worked are phentermine and ephedra. I lost over 70 lbs of pregnancy weight twice-the first time with ephedra, and the second (because ephedra was banned) I used phentermine. The ephedra worked faster, but that may have been due to the fact that I was younger, or that my body recuped faster because it was my first baby. The FDA just allowed ephedra back on the market April 2006, and after my phen is gone I plan to get some if I still have weight to lose.
THAT being said, I understand your concern about how much all of this costs, and prescriptions are an expensive "try this and see". I've read LOTS of posts here about how phentermine doesn't work for some people. You have done great losing 3 pounds in a week and a half-that's a totally admirable, normal rate of loss-and you did it just through exercise! That doesn't work like that for me! Maybe you don't need a prescription at all? I'd love to be able to say I did this with sheer willpower and exercise........
