hi new-good questions.....
first of all, trying to buy the cheapest is probably not the best idea. Unfortunately, there are some scam sites out there. Check out
Ian's list on the Buying Online subgroup. Just be sure not to fall for the "subscription based" plans, where you pay a membership fee to get cheap prices. They are all listed there anyway, but I personally have a friend who tried one of those, and they just kept her fee and told her the doctor denied the prescription (I wish she would have found this site first-that mistake would not have been made!).
I just bought from ccbasket, and although it took a while, I'm happy with the quality. My order was during the shortage, anyway, and from newer posts I think the wait time is pretty short now.
As far as the dosage/type, it's a personal choice. Have you ever taken a
diet pill before? The higher the dose, the stronger the med, but also stronger side effects. I take the strongest
37.5 mg, and they've never bothered me, but some people can't tolerate them. I've taken the brand name Adipex, and the generic, and they are the same, so save your money. If you buy them and they bother you, you can always take half at a time, though. There is also a resin based time release form called Ionamin, but I've never taken it.
If price is a huge issue, and you're not in a hurry, check back at the sites listed as reputable on here every few days, because prices change. I ordered mine in March, and I paid $110 with delivery for 90 pills. Today I think it's $189, so there can be some big fluctuations over time.
The different sizes and colors are different dosages. There are many different manufacturers of the generics, so they have different names, but that's not a decision to worry about, as every pharmacy just doles out whatever they have at the time, online or otherwise-you're not given a choice when you order or even fill a prescription at your local pharmacy.
The first time I took phen (years ago) I lost about 45-50 pounds with my 3 month prescription. This is my second time around, and it's not going that quickly. It's not really a predictable pattern for anyone. Some people say it doesn't work for them at all, and some people lose 10 or 15 pounds the first few weeks. Phen doesn't make pounds fall off-it's a tool that helps you lose them on your own, so it still depends on how you eat, what your metabolism is like, and your exercise and
water intake.
