I've seen b-12 up to 2500 mg. Don't worry about the dosage, because you can't really overdo it with b12-whatever your body won't use is just expelled as waste in the urine. B-12 does help phen's effectiveness-I used to get the shot when I took it before, and I lost weight faster. I don't have anywhere to go nearby that gives them now, so I just ordered some sublingual (strips that dissolve on the tongue). They are supposed to be the next most effective way to have it administered, with pills or capsules being the least (effective way it can be absorbed and used by the body). I haven't gotten them in yet, so I can't give testament to how the strips actually work....this is just what I've read and been told by people here who use them.
It doesn't matter when you take it, with or without your phen. I'm gonna use mine at the same time, just because it's easier to remember and in the morning. B-12 also gives an energy/metabolism boost, so my guess would be that's the best time.
