Hi everyone,
I have been on phen for a month now. My doctor also put me on a blood preasure medication and hypothyroid medication along with it. The first three or four days I noticed a difference with phen. It then faded off for about a week and then the next week I noticed it helping again. My weight is fluxuating constantly. One day I weigh myself and I've lost 10 pounds and a few days later it showed that I had only lost 3 or 6. Some days it says I am a pound heavier than when I started. I was wondering if anyone else noticed these same fluxuations. Also, has anyone taken phen with blood preasure medication or hypothyroid medication? I wonder if they would weaken the effects of phen.

When I was taking Phen, I also was on BP Meds. I had not problems what-so-ever. I even double checked w/ my pharmacist to make sure it was OK Even though I got the meds from the same Dr who gave me the BP meds. Just had to make sure. So, no I never had any problemd. Did your Dr. put you on the Phen also, or did you order it onine? If you ordered, check w/ your Dr. and make sure you are ok w/ taking it. If he gave it to you, I don't think he would have put you on it knowing of any effects it would have w/ your other meds. Like I said though, if you ordered it online, check w/ your Dr. at the very least w/ your pharmacist to make sure there are no interactions.

As for your weight fluctuating...do you have a digitl scale? If so, change the battery in it and see if that helps any. Alot of time's, it's just the battery getting weak. And make sure that you are weighing at the same time everyday that you weigh. Your weight changes many times through out the day. I always do it first thing in the morning after waking up, w/ no clothes on and before I shower. I even potty before hand, LOL Every little bit helps

Good Luck and Keep us posted.

Amanda

Thank you AmandaDS for your reply. I am new so I very much value the help. Yes, my doctor first put me on BP Meds before he started me on phen. After 1 week and my BP came down he put me on phen. I did go out and buy a digital scale so I would imagine that the battery that came with it should be new and give me an accurate reading. I do weigh myself first thing in the morning with no clothes but even two -three hours later the reading is different. I look at this because I can only meet with my doctor between 1 and 2 pm. and I have clothes on. It is amazing how a few pounds can show up between morning and afternoon with clothes on. I am working out and watching what I eat. I am afraid that my doctor won't think I'm trying hard enough if my weight loss isn't enough. I have just started working out in the mornings with three layers of sweats on to get rid of any water weight lol. I go in tomorrow for my 30 day visit so hopefully things will go well. Thank you so much! Any other info is always helpful.

Like I said, your weight fluctuates alot through out the day. If you weigh at he Dr.'s Office in the afternoon, w/ clothes on, that's the weight he's gonna use. Trust me on that. My Doc's scales are so old and ancient that my true weight was never even logged. I honestly have no idea what I actually started @ because I didn't own a scale either. But that's months past lol
If i were you, I would still change the battery in your scale. Just because the scale in new, doesn't mean the battery is good. It could have been sitting for a long time, or turned on and off alot. Just a thought. I'm saying this because I had to by a new one when I first got mine too. Cheap things! LOL

Good Luck.
