How long should I be off Lexapro before starting?

I'm going to quit Lexapro soon, because I want to start Phentermine, and because I REALLY miss having the "big O". :o

So, how long should I be off of Lexapro before I start Phen?

Hi Heather, You should always check with your doctor before stopping any meds, especially an anti-depressant such as this. In any case you should be completely off the lexapro a minimum of 14 days before starting any new med, particularly phentermine. dawg

I took lexapro for a year and that is why I gained so much weight, did you have any weight gain from Lexapro, Lexapro is why I am on phen today, but I stopped Lexapro about 4 months before starting Phen
