I'm just wondering b/c I've been on it for about a week and I've only lost about 2 pounds. Everyone on here is saying they've lost 10-15 pounds in like 10 days or less. I'm on 30 mg, what is everyone else on?

Hi.

To answer your question, it is just as Robyn5678 said, those of us who have a larger quantity of weight to lose, will lose it in nice chunky blocks of 10 lbs the first week, 7 the next, another 5 the next, etc...but it eventually slows down the closer you get to your goal weight because there isn't as much to lose. If you want to improve weight lose, drink more water and start getting in more exercise or activity to boost the calorie expenditure, this is the only way you will see a change.

Look at the bright side, you are 2 or 3 lbs lighter than last week, better than zero. We all want that quick fix, but even as good as Phentermine does work for many, in the end, there is no true, "magic" pill.
There are some "tricks" out there, but the best way to lose faster is to work out. Have fun and good luck!

Hey Tara:

I'm on the 37.5mg and I don't think I could take any less than that...but then again, I kinda like the rush I get from the dosage...it gives me a ton of energy. I don't take a 1/2 pill either like some people do, I take a whole one.

Have you looked to see what the others weigh that are saying they are losing that much? People that have a lot more weight to lose will drop it faster than those that have only a small amount to lose.

I started Phentermine before my sister...she is only 5'3" tall and weighed about 165lbs when she started. I am 5'5" tall and started at 153lbs...she flew by me in her results due to having more weight to lose...plus she began to incorporate a strenuous daily workout every day at lunch...she's military and they are given an hour for lunch plus one hour for exercise at lunch time and they have two gyms on her base...so she's very lucky to have that luxery. So, I'm now 140lbs. (no exercise at all...has taken me about 4 months but really no true effort except the pills and water) and my sister is now 135lbs and it took her about four months too...now she is just maintaining now because she's comfortable where she's at...she wears a size 6 or 7 now, sometimes a 4. I still want to lose another 10lbs. though. Hope this helped...good luck.
