Beating the Dead Horse- Dawg, another question

I've been taking the Amide 30mg yellow caps for 3 weeks now. Haven't lost a thing and the appetite isn't really being supressed, if anything I feel more "funky" than engergetic. I get better results by taking a Claritin-D. That being said, here's my question. What is your opinion on switching to the 37.5's? NOW, I know that they only contain 30mgs of Phen, but could the fact that they are tabs instead of slow release caps make a difference? I know you're not a physician, so really I'm just asking for an opinion because of the chemical make-up of the pills.

Actually it's funny that I come here to ask questions because I work for a Pharma that distributes the stuff, so I could very easily call one of the scientists I'm sure! LOL. Hey good one about the Albuterol shortage BTW!! You'd think it was gold the way our pharmacies battle over it when they call in! :shock:

I have an answer for you and a question.
The question first...why would you direct a question to dawg, who is a pharmacist, and then tell him you know he's not? That's kinda insulting even to me, and I KNOW I'm not one lol Dawg is a pharmacist is how he know's so much about these meds.

Secondly, I started on the 30mg and my Doctor switched me to the 37.5mg because my tolerance built so fast. I would think though that if you got effect at all from the 30's, that the 37.5's probably aren't going to do much for you either. Some people just have a natural tolerance for them.

Hi Amanda, I did not say that I thought Dawg was not a pharmacist. I said I know he is not a PHYSICIAN. I think you must've mis-read.

Did you feel any appetite supression at all with the Amide? I took the yellow 30 mg., I think they were PurePac, and they worked really well. Did you get it online? If it did work in the beginning, I would agree with what Amanda said; go to the higher dose. But for me, the 30's really worked well, almost too well

No problem Amanda. I think it's hilarious how everyone on the board "circles the wagons" when they think someone's trying to attack! LOL

Anyway, no, really I don't think I had much suppression with the 30's. I did order them online from CustomHRT. I found out they are located about 5 minutes from where I live in FL.... or so the address says! I had never ordered from an online pharmacy before, but most FL docs won't prescribe.
I'm also on Weight Watchers so I write before I bite, and I'm noticing no noticeable change in the amount of food, nor a difference in what I'm eating. That's why I'm wondering if I should've just started off at the higher dose in the first place.

Where did you say you were from?? lol I think I'm so confused now, I'm not sure if I'm answering a question which one it's supposed to be. I think, if I lived only (5) minutes from CustomHRT, I would be taking a little ride. I looked at the order site, such untruths, many falsehoods. (I felt it necessary to use those words, you know, this wild wild west thing you have going on here)As for the tablets v. the capsules, you do realize, that none of them are time released? Except for (purepac tab) they are all considered long lasting, or long acting. I know, I know, what's the difference, you ask? Ya got me, I'll be danged if I know and I'm a pharmacist. Wait a minute, am I suppossed to be a physician, or a pharmacist, or a dead horse or a dead dawg? See I've forgotten who I even am let alone who I'm suppossed to be.
