I started taking 15mg of Phentermine on the 22nd of July and I had the usual side effects (a little dizzy, tons of energy, no appetite etc...) but the last 2 days, after I work out (I work out at Curves during my lunch break) I get this really weird feeling that is hard to explain. My heart starts pounding and I start shaking and sweating a lot. Today, I was walking back from the gym and my legs were shaking really bad that I felt like I would fall down. I feel like I am majorly buzzed off of this stuff and it lasts for about 30 minutes after my workout. I do not have a doctor to talk to and just wondered if anyone had that sensation after exercising. I was thinking that maybe my heart rate is going to high while exercising and it takes a while for it to calm down.

Honestly, I think you should FIND a Doctor to talk to. This may not be the med you need to be taking. If I were you, I would stop taking it for a bit, but keep up with your exercising and see if it continues, and I would find a Doctor. Even if it's like a local Urgent Care Clinic. You shouldn't be feeling that way. I don't think it's a side effect, I think it could be a reaction to it. Please, find a doctor to talk to.

Thanks Amanda. I just thinks its weird that otherwise I feel fine, and its only after my workout that I have felt that way the last 2 days.

I suggest you drink a sports drink or eat some fruit after you workout. It could be low blood sugar or even dehydration. I sometimes suffer from bouts of this, even before dieting.

I found that drinking a couple of glasses of water before working out and then another couple after working out greatly helped along with an orange or a protein bar. Keeping the body hydrated is etremely important for each hour of exercise you should add two to three cups of water. This is in addition to the recommended daily amount of 8 glasses.
Also, do check with your doctor or just call you local nurse helpline.

Hi blondie,

If the feeling does continue you should see a doctor. But, so you know, the same thing happens to me, and my stomach is usual very upset, no matter what diet pill I'm on. Because I simple don't eat enough! I agree w/ BouBou, try eating something small before or right after your work out. If that doesn't help then definitely see a DR.

Hope everything works out!<a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253F partner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxdm801ITUS%2526i%253D4% 252F4%255F1%255F10v%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank">
