I have been taking the Purepac 37.5 mg for 3 days and already notice a big difference. I have dropped 4 lbs. and really feel the effects. I don't get hungry at any point throughout the day. Like today, for instance, I had lunch around 1 pm and when we went to dinner at 7:30 pm, I wasn't hungry and hadn't even realized that it was past my normal dinner time.

I am definitely going to stick to the Purepac when I get my prescription refilled. I will not try the Amide again.

Dedanky - It is, however, nice to know that someone else taking the Amide didn't really feel the effects for the first month. You might want to consider the Purepac next time. How is your MIL doing on hers compared to you on yours?

Hi Ginny! My MIL has alot to lose but she has lost close to 20lbs. on them in 3 months. She doesn't like to feel too jittery so she takes half in the morning and half in the afternoon. I don't know how long her docter will keep her on them though. I think it is being used as a training aid to get her to eat better. Saying that, I have used Phentermine before and about a week after I stopped taking them I got the sweet cravings again. So oh well I guess we have to roll with the punches.
