Though I know that Phentermine is a generic of Adipex, has anyone found out that one works better than the other, or that switching between the two can help with tolerance (like Adipex one month, Phentermine the next)? I think this may work b/c each one has a chemical "footprint" and generic and brand-name are not 100% identical. Thus, the body may be fooled into thinking that it is a different drug, and start reacting to it.
Consider this also: I thought I was so tolerant to Phentermine that I probably could take the whole pill now (I was taking a bit more than half) and it would not even affect me. But I took a tiny bit more than I was used to and it about knocked me off my feet.
So, it appears that with weight loss, one may need less and less of the drug, as the blood volume is less...or something like that...? B/c I know that when I was a lot heavier, I could pop a 30 mg capsule w/ no problem (can't touch 'em now), or a whole 37.5 mg pill.
I am wondering also how the 15 mg capsule would be since it a generic of a different drug. But capsules hit a person so much harder and you can't adjust the dose.
FYI--I am 5'3 and started out at 220 lbs and now weigh around 114-118 lbs (it changes weekly).
