I am wondering if there is a difference in the different phentermine pills. Does one work better than the other? Once your body stops responding to one pill, can you take a different brand and will it still work for you?

Everybody has different experiences on the different forms of Phentermine, so it's hard to say exactly. For ME, personally, the 37.5mg tablets worked MUCH MUCH better than the 30mg time-released capsules. Those things didn't do ANYTHING for me except make my mouth super dry! Big deal! They did NOTHING for my appetite, & isn't that why I was on them in the 1st place??? To try to supress my appetite??? DUH! So, I switched to the 37.5mg tablets, & they worked soooooooooo much better for me!!! The appetite supression w/ these pills is AWESOME! LOVE THEM!

Which tablets are you taking? I have been taking the r316 white ones but I just my new ones and they are the a-159 white with blue specks.

Hi, Randi. I would think that all the U.S. pills of phentermine of the same type, pills or capsules, and the same mg. are composed of the very same ingredients. I THINK this is the law.The only differences might be of the inert ingredients like color dyes and the like. Top-Dawg, our resident pharmacist, can tell for certain.:o
I take the 37.5 mg pills and are like yours. I have been on mine since May and they are stronger now than in the beginning! :confused: Who knew??

Randi, I've noticed a difference in the two types of pills, I started a month ago on the r316's and just yesterday started the a159's i've noticed that i've felt a little sick to my stomach and more effects from them over all. I must say i like the r316's better as after day 3 I no longer felt sped up and didn't have any ill effects. Have you noticed a difference? Your post was a few weeks ago so I assume you have switched.
