I've been doing this since February and I am down a whopping 29 pounds. And I have a lot to lose! It's frustrating sometimes, particularly the 8 week period where basically I just stayed the same or bounced up and down a pound here and there. But I've decided that the lifestyle I've adopted is a life-long one, not just a diet, and so I've just sucked it up and said, "okay that's the way it is!" And the way I look at it, the scale is moving in the right direction for the first time in years so that is a major positive as well.

Keep at it. You are likely building up muscle since you are exercising faithfully and that actually keeps the pouns from coming off quite so quickly. It also btw keeps them from coming back as well - which is the big deal here! I'm glad you have a friend to share your journey with. Good luck, Ellen

I am so glad to hear that not everyone isnt losing massive weight quickly. Ive only been on this since 8/22 and have gained a pound. I too am getting very frustrated. Im walking in the morning at least 45 min, I am doing tai chi in the afternoon and either going for a walk or rollerblading at night. I weigh myself in the morning and im 183 and then at night im anywhere between 189 and 188. But I am gonna stick with this bc my goal is 59 lbs and its comin off one way or another. I did take my measurments on the 23rd to see if they are getting smaller and my weight was just staying the same. I dont know I guess ill know in about another week and a half. Good luck all!
Lynn

AMEN, Ladies! I agree! As you begin exercising you add muscle tissue daily and it weighs far more than fat per volume. It may seem you are not losing when actually you have lost fat and gained muscle! Stay in the race....and do not give up. It will happen!

your right! i feel kind of dissapointed when i see the other girls at work just wasting away and here i am bit by bit. at the end of the day i just remind myself that mine is a change in lifestyle. phen is just a supplement for me, not a replacement. i am the one leaving work and heading to the gym, eating healthy at lunch, and they are doing the exact opposite. i guess they don't realize that phen isn't going to be there forever. i get kind of nervous when i hear about it wearing off in 3 months. next month will be the third month for me and i thought i would have lost more by then. i heard baby weight is the hardest to get rid of and amen to that!!! its kicking my butt. lets just keep eachother motivated and one day we will be at the finish line cheering everyone else on.....

Yes I am experiencing the same thing with the slower weight loss lately, but I haven't been exercising as much in the past month which is what I believe is wrong. For me exercise has been the best was to maintain a steady weight loss. That is the best advice I can give anyone who isn't losing as fast as they would like. Also like most people say on here, losing slower is better since it stays off instead of coming right back and also you don't get all that saggy, gross skin! Good Luck with the weight loss everyone!!!

We've all been there before...wanted to loose the weight quickly...and then put it back on even quicker!!! I lost a stone in the first 2 weeks, which was great, but now the weight loss has slowed down to about 3lbs a week. Although I would love to take a pill that makes me an instant skinnie minnie, Phetermine has given me something far better. Since taking Phen, I ve been encouraged to go to eat really healthy, go to the gym and fitness classes. Maybe I wont have lost 100lbs in six months time, but I will have slowly learnt to change my lifestyle. I feel more comfortable in my skin (and clothes), more confident and far more enegetic. Yes, the Phen is helping A LOT, but more than that, my entire mindset is changing. BEWARE OF QUICK FIX PROMISES LADIES, THEY NEVER LAST!!!!

Hello there. I too am losing weight, but slowly. I don't mind too much. In the past, I would take my phentermine and still eat the same type of foods, thinking that if I just ate less of them I would lose weight. Wrong. I had to stop eating so much junk food from the vending machines at work, and candy. I am a candy addict! Now, if I want something sweet, I have a little bit of it and that is it. I drink only water at work all day and then most evenings at home too. I have one cup of coffee in the morning, peanut butter and wheat bread for lunch with sugar free jello and milk too. I want the calcium. I stopped eating so many french fries, and carbs in general. I still don't exercise as much as I should, other than the work I do in a warehouse, climbing, walking, and lifting all day. This time around, I started my phentermine around mid-July and weighed about 149. Now, I weight about 135 last time I checked. I don't weigh myself much. I can tell by my clothes and how much energy I have. Also how quickly I can move! Good luck to everyone. ttkitty.

I am a slow loser. And a loser who also gains back lbs from time to time...
This forum keeps me going. All the great work that Kimber, Joy, Morninglory, Susan, Kiki, and many others are doing keeps me motivated.
Just don't give up! Keep going... we all will get there...
