Hi all
I am new to this forum, however not new to phentermine. It's been a while since I had placed my last order, and the site I used to order from is no longer around.
About 3 weeks ago, I placed an order with directdietpills.com. I never got any correspondence from them, no email, no calls, no nothing. I emailed them about 5 times, to several different email addresses, never got any answers. I called and got put on hold forever and never picked up. Today I finally get a USPS Priority Mail box in the mail, and inside it has 3 bottles (60 capsules) of PHENTER NP in it. I wanted to cry, as I had paid $100+ (which is what I had usually paid) for what I thought was going to be phentermine! The packing slip says that my prescription was denied (doesn't say why) and that they were filling with a non-prescription product. If it was denied, why wouldn't they tell me???
My question is....has anyone else had dealings with this site? Does anyone think that I could even have my credit card company stop payment on this? OR does anyone think that the stuff I got instead is going to work like the real deal??
I am sorry to sound crazed. I put on a few too many pounds this summer and was REALLY looking forward to my phentermine order to help me out in losing some of it.
Thanks in advance to anyone with any insight, or for just listening to me whine!!!!

Makes me so MAD! Cshell, you must call your credit card company and tell them what you paid for was not at all what you received. Do NOT let this
matter drop! It may take a few calls, and you must always write down the time, name and nature of your call.
It is against the law for them to simply substitute what they think you want and use your money for it. It is considered fraud, so these guys WILL pony up if made to do so. Let the credit card company handle it; they can get all your $ back. Please keep good records, and I suggest this site that this site owner recommends as one possibility to buy the real Mccoy. I will PM you soon if I find the post where Top-Dawg quotes step by step what to do in cases like these.
I guess now may not be a good time for this, but I am glad you are here! Welcome to PhenForum!:p :o

Thanks so much! Just your reply makes me feel better, and not alone. I'd appreciate the PM whenever you may be able to find it.....
I actually started to feel real stupid like it was my fault, but you are right, they did take advantage of me! I already placed another order for the real stuff on mylittlepharmacy, and from reading some posts here, I feel a bit better about that.
Thanks again, and best of luck to you!

ALERT! I found the post and Top-Dawg, our resident pharmacist, was quoting another site and I will quote his quote, in full:
<TABLE class=tborder id=post183823 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=6 width="100%" align=center border=0><TBODY><TR vAlign=top><TD class=postbit-tr id=td_post_183823>Hi D, I found this and copied it from rip off report. I don't care too much for the web site itself, this however has some excellent ideas, that I'll bet will work. Check it out. HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO:

Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E.

According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: “we could not do anything for you” or “you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days”.

If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges.

Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent!

DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!

Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get.

And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state.

Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth.

If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.

CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD

If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here. Good Luck, dawg

The same thing happened to my friend. Make you wonder if they even fill phen, or they are trying to push this "alternative product.

When she called to complain, they directed her to the FAQ section where they have this;

3. If the physician does not approve your prescription within 3 business days, the prescription will be substituted with the #1 non-prescription weight loss product. The charges, in place of the prescription product, will be adjusted to equal: 30 day order=$55.00 / 60 day order=$77.00 / 90 day order=$93.00

Hi Jamiegirl. Did you friend try to fight it at all? I read that too and wonder if I don't have a leg to stand on now.....my whole thing is that they should have let me know. But you are right, if they don't even sell phentermine to begin with and they are pushing this, of course they wouldn't have let me know. What's even worse about this is that I now have 3 bottle of this Phenter NP junk that doesn't even work!!! I've tried it out, and it's got no effect on me at all. I am going to try and fight it with my credit card company, hopefully that will work and I can get my money back.
Thanks for listening and helping!

This just happened last week, and she called her CC company to complain. They told her she could have refused the package?!?!

It really makes me wonder if they even have phentrmine if they call their substitution The #1 weight loss product!

Hopefully they will reverse her charges. Good luck to you...

Well, on a good note....Discover credited my account today and is opening an investigation into the site and the charges. AND the real deal came today from mylittelpharmacy.com, and I am thrilled! I could have kissed the FEDEX man when he arrived!! I have to say, I had not a problem at all with mylittlepharmacy. They have great communication and quick ship. And the pills are good, I took one immediately and I feel great!
Thanks again, all.
