Ciao everyone,
I am not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but when I was checking out my order at
customhrt.com I noticed that this website was not on a secure server. They did not have that yellow padlock at the bottom of the browser and they did not have an "s” added on to the https:// that comes before the rest of the web address.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that the “s” and the yellow padlock meant that you have entered a secure area or server.
I even emailed the company asking them the following (Please tell me if customhrt’s response is legit or are they just telling me anything because they assume that I will believe them--I do not know a lot about the internet and secure servers so I need answers from people who are knowledgeable about this stuff):

Hello,
I was trying to place an order with your company for
phentermine, but when I went to register (as a new customer) and checkout I did not see the little yellow padlock at the bottom of my computer screen. Does your company use an on-line ordering system where you have 128 bit encryption security? I am just trying to protect myself from any fraud. Please let me know, maybe it is something wrong on my end--like a blocker.
Thanks,

We use our own 128 bit encryption on our own dedicated server in addition we utilize an additional firewall.

My last two questions are:
#1 Who is the exact person that I could inquire for help when I need to find out the legitimacy of a website? I think there are two people on here that do that.
#2 Also I hate to be bothersome and keep asking about legitimate sites, so if someone could give me some tips on how to find out or investigate the legitimacy of a sight I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for reading and your replies,
Kareen
