Hi, I just took the first dose of phen on Wednesday and I started feeling quite weird, actually pretty uncomfortable. I got a bit of a headache, was feeling nauseas and a bit dizzy. I was thinking that maybe I need a smaller dose so I thought that i could break the 37.5mg pills in half, but then I keep reading everywhere that you should take it whole. I don't know if that just means that you shouldn't crush them and stuff like that or if it means that you shouldn't even break them in half.
Does anyone know if it would be OK if I split the pill in half? Also does anyone have any tips about how to deal with side effects or knows if they will go away over time?

I have seen that a lot of people break the 37.5 mg in half.

if it is the solid sort of phen (ie not the capsuals) then course you can split it, lots of forumites here on the boards take 1/2 a pill first thing and the other 1/2 early afternoon.

Hi, Rock. The side effects should be gone within a few days. I think starting with 1/2 a pill is always the wisest thing to do, since less not only is better if it works well but also doubles your supply!

I split my 37.5 pill in half and take half when I first get up, and half in the late morning.

The side effects are wearing off, thank heavens. I too felt wierd and jittery like I had consumed too much caffeine the first few days.
