I don't know what is going on? After a great week last week now, phen is not working. I took one (37.5) at 7:00a. had breakfast at 7:45a...it's now 9:43..and I'm STARVING..stomach is grumbling.

What the heck is going on????

Anyone else experience this? What do I need to do to get back on track?

3 pills is DANGEROUS and a very bad idea as they can do a lot of damage if you are not careful.

The phen will be working. Everyone gets hunger pains, it is a case of working through them and distracting yourself with something else until they pass.

I am about to do a post about distraction to hunger pains.

It is also worth remembering that you should be aiming to eat something protein wise every 3 hours or so.

Thanks Rainbow,
I am doing the distraction post now, and eating at the same time.

I sometimes get hunger pangs a couple of hours after I eat and have had the phen in me for a few hours. It usually goes away, and it is nice because I can chew some sugar free gum and that usually takes care of it. Some days are better than others, but I think it is completely normal. I have learned to not listen to my stomach so much anymore, and more to my mind.

but isn't phen supposed to be an appetite suppressant? If you have to keep your mind off of food voluntarily, why even take the phen?

I supposed I am just kind of peeved, because I have been having the same problem. Grr.

My experience this far is that there are times where I am hungry- however- once I start eating- I am fuller MUCH QUICKER than I usually am. I am eating much smaller portions, and I am much more satisifed. I just ate a lean cuisine for dinner and I am STUFFED. And I know I will be for the rest of the night. Being hungry I think is ok, it is what you do with that hunger and how you manage it. I was hungry after work, so I had a rice cake. If you eat a few small meals a day you should be ok. I lost weight doing it that way about 6 years ago without the phen and lost 50 pounds. This is of course just my opinion.
