Ok let me give you some background. A couple of months before my wedding I took phen and it worked fast like in the first two wks I lost the most weight then it slowed down. Granted I did not have as much weight to loose as I do now. Now forward 2 yrs to now and we had our first baby girl in May. I had severe pre-eclampsia and so I was very swollen and of course caused me to gain weight. I lost all the fluid but I still have 50lbs to loose if I want to be at my correct bmi weight. I would be happy to just be able to fit in my old clothes which would be like 20lbs! So I went to my doctor and she put me back on the phen. I have been on it for a month now and by my scale at home I have only lost 4lbs!!! I am not due to go back to the doctor for another month. So does this sound odd to anyone else? Why am I not loosing? The appetite suppressant is working now and I am certainly eating less. I just dont know what to do to loose more. I am so frustrated! Please if anyone has any insite on this let me know!!

How long since you had your baby? Post-partum weight right afterwards is hard to get off, you need to give it some time. If it's been more than a year and you've been exercising and eating right and taking phen and still nothing, then I would go back and talk to your doctor, there maybe something wrong with your thyroid or hormones for that matter?

Are you nursing? If you are, I don't think you should be taking phen - and your calories should be more and tons more water - for nurishment for your baby and to keep producing milk.

If you aren't nursing and it hasn't been very long, just give it time- are you exercising? Remember, lots of fiber and lots of water, keep your meals small but packed with fiber and protein. Walk/job run or do some exercise if you can.

I tried to answer some questions, once you respond, maybe more people will answer.

Take care.
