I have a friend who went to the doctor here on base and got her to prescribe her phen. Which on the nor base doctors wont prescribe any diet pills. (there anal)..Anyways the doc gave her the presciption and she went to walmart and got it filled, it cost her 28 dollars for a 30 day supply(still cheaper to get the 100 pills thru costumhrt.com) anyway asked her to see the pills and they are the exact same ones i am taking from the online pharmacy, same little white pill with blue specks and same stamping on the front, no difference at all..So just to let ya'll know I do believe the ones from custmhrt are the real thing and just as good as the "doctors" here prescribe..Its funny how she said she would never order online and thought she got a great deal at walmart when in reality i got the better deal, and didnt have to leave the house!!

They are the exact same pills from custom-I had a few left of my last script from another company to compare them to when I got my order today. I know, it's way cheaper for me too. My doctor said he doesn't believe in diet pills. But even if he would have prescribed them to me, by the time I pay a copay for the visit, and for the medicine, it would cost me a good bit more to be getting them through him anyway.

Yea i agree, the base here doesn't like to give diet pills out either, so im glad we can get them online, save alot of us some money and time, not having to go to the awful appointment where the doc tells you your overweight but wont give you anything to help you out..

I agree my Doc is also on base and when I asked him about them it was a no. I do have an apt with a off base doc for somthing else so I may ask her. It is just somthing with the military Docs they don't want to help they just want you out of the office.

Trust me it's not just an on base thing. My primary care is at a clinic that has about 10 doctors, and I can see any of them without having to move my records . I wasted the copay 3 different times, thinking that one of those doctors would sympathize with a woman that was 5 ft 3 and 215 pounds. I had tried for about 8 months on my own after I had my baby, and had actually gained a few pounds instead. All of them handed me a different diet plan, or suggested a book, etc. One of them was downright rude and acted like he was annoyed that I had wasted his office time for something like being overweight. The next closest doctors office is 3 1/2 hours away.....and even if I had been willing to go THAT far, there's no guarantee that THAT dr would have been any different. I should have just bought online to begin with.

yea here on base they tend to like to send you to the gym to talk to the yahoos over there who tells you, you need to change your eating habits and exercise. Like we didnt know that before we came!!! You would think that they would be more understanding knowing it took alot for us to go to the gym and ask for help from someone we don't know, I did find this website earlier with a diet plan that seems really easy to follow so ill pass it on for everyone to take a look at..

My 98 pound Dr told me "The human Body can actually live off of 700 calories a day, you just need to eat less"

The funny thing is I am not losing like I should because I am not eating enough. I am also following weight watchers and suppose to eat 24 points a day. This last week I only ate between 17 and 21 points each day. If you notice in my stats I only lost one pound.

Tmralston. Wow that is crazy I can't believe your doc told you 700 calories a day, thats probably why he or she only weighs 98 pounds, I'm sure the body could live on that but I can't imagine that would be healthy. You just keep doing what your doing and you'll get to where you want to be..
