I have been doing this for one year, under Dr. Care. I have lost 85 pounds and I have ten more to go. Just so you know when I first started I had to do a strick diet for three days to get my body going. What we do is 500 hundred calories only protein. You need to take it easy though you will feel weak. Then we use ketones strips that diabtics use; you can get it at CVS and you have to pee on the strip and it should tell you if you are in a ketones state. This means that your body is buring, once you get a dark reading on the scale on the tube that the strips come in. Then after the three days you slowly add things to your diet. Also we have to drink one gallon of water a day. My other thing is if it is in your house and it is not good for you and you might be tempeted throw it out. Good Luck
