Hello everyone!

I haven been taking phentermine 37.5mg for about 2 months now. (Awesome progress, by the way)

But I am writing to ask a serious question about phentermine.

I just got a new job haven't even started yet, and I am supposed to go this afternoon for a drug screening, do you know if I will pass the drug test. I did a search online and I found this one guy who said he got fired from his job for taking phentermine because when he was drug tested it came up as methamphetamine... Don't know how true that story is, but I really need to know. I mean its not illegal to take them, but what am I going to do??

Please let me know what you know about drug testing while on this medication!!

When I asked my doctor who prescribed my phen to me, he said it could come back positive. What you need to make sure you do is list all medications you are taking and make sure to list phentermine. Phentermine is not an illegal drug so they can't bust you for it. If you fail to list what medications you are taking and it comes back positive then they may think you are trying to hide something. Just list the phentermine as a medication you take and I really do not think you will have any problems.

If you list all current medications and what you take them for from the start then they're shouldn't be a issue iwth it.

It is when you keep back details it causes problems

Absolutely-I agree.
When you go in for a screening, they will ask what meds you take, and when it shows up they can test further if need be, or verify your prescription. It should not be something that keeps you from getting a job.

See thats exactly why my fiance is not taking phen with me. We were going to split a 3 month supply, but when he saw I have it in my name. He refuses to take it. So I will have to order more in his name. But I wondered if I do that will it. And they do a random drug test. Will he still get in trouble.

I ordered from custom. And it looks like a bottle of phen from the factory if that makes sense. With a white sticker on it. And of course my info.
Does anyone know if this will pass. Seeing that it was bought online?

Mine is from a doctor but its in a bottle with a white sticker on it. It just has my name handwritten on it and the date and mg and when to take it. This is crazy!!!!!!!!!!

If you get drug tested and list phentermine as a medication you are taking there should be no problem. If they ask to see your prescription then take the bottle to them with your name on the label and you should be fine.

As far as the boyfriend, he should get his own with his name on it then he can take it with you and be covered if he would get drug tested.

Yes-the bottle should be enough. There is supposed to be a pharmacy and doctor's name on that sticker, along with a phone number and/or address of the pharmacy. That way, if it ever comes into question, the validity of the prescription can be verified. It is the doctor's and the pharmacy's responsibility to ensure it-they are the parties that are legally bound by the laws and regulations of the fda.
