Not only do I want to lose weight. But I am gonna build a butt from scratch. lol I don't have one. And if I do I don't know where it went. I have never seen it.
I was watching Extreme Makeover and seen a lady building her butt. Sooo lol thats my goal. We have a gym here. I have yet to use it. And we moved in 2 weeks ago.
My butt never gets big. It gets wider. I am hoping to build muscle there. I don't even care about working out the rest. ha ha j/k But if I can get a butt without doing surgery. I am all for it.

I have no booty too. I'm working on building one now. Lunges and squats will do it. Get hand weights. No one in my family has a booty. Mom's a bodybuilder and has a booty you can sit a cup on just from doing lunges and squats. You don't need surgery, just the right exercises. You never see bodybuilders with flat butts, and those exercises are why.

Good luck and keep up with the good work on your progress! Your pic is adorable. What a nice mommy and baby photo!

I don't tend to have a butt either. But in the yoga class I teach we do some stretches and exertions that really build the gluteus maximus and associated muscles.

If you're doing machines to build the butt, remember it's high resistance, low reps that will build the muscle, while low resistance high reps just tone the muscles.

Funny you should post this. My body has changed so much things arent where they used to be lol Im still searching for where things go :P

I used to be butt and leg heavy 7 or 8 years ago from weightlifting and running, now I carry most of my weight in my stomach/midsection and arms. All of my pants are huge in the legs, butt and actual waist but tight in the midsection/hip area which makes trying to find the right fit impossible.

I started around Jan 3rd this year walking again after 2 months with no exercise. I started reading articles and posts here, and decided to start slowly with incline walking and band resistance training since I can do it here at home anytime.

I worked up to 90% incline for 40 min @ 2.5mph. When I am done, I feel like Ive ran up and down stairs all day long (or what I remember from living in a 2 story home).

Within the first 2 days, I could tell somewhat of a difference and muscle tightening. In 10 days, I can tell I am getting muscle definition back.

The funniest thing happened though. I was standing at the stove cooking last night and my husband leaned on our bar to talk to me. My back was to him and he didn't say anything for a few min and I turned and said WHAT?? he was grinning like he just ate all the pie and didn't tell anyone!

I was kind of ticked then, but was curious what the heck was going on. He said hmmm I think the walking is helping... I got even madder - he's not once ever said anything about my weight, he doesnt notice stuff like that.. then he says I'VE FOUND YOUR BUTT..it's SO rounded now, I laughed so hard I almost had an accident  I was so embarrassed!

If he said hey come check out my new 6 gig hard drive and graphics on this thing (pc) I might have been less shocked...or if I had a dvd drive with unlimited games he might have noticed, he never notices stuff like clothes or weight gain/loss.

I started using Nivea Body Reshaping Treatment this week along with the exercise and noticed right away a smoothing of my skin.

When I put on my smallest pair of shorts, I had to pull them up to fit right or pull them all the way down on my hips. The only thing about the treatment is it has a very very strong smell like ponds cold cream (if they still make that).

I got mine from Amazon.com 2 - 10 oz jars for $25 but they sell it all over.
