You got them both right!

DDR isn't only for Playstation though, I think they have them for other game systems as well. Its great. I know they have a section where it tells you the time, calories burned, distance if walked, laps if swam, etc. Its really neat. Not sure about accuracy, but its a great workout none the less.

Oh absolutely! They have it for Gamecube (Mario DDR, quite fun actually!), XBox, Playstation....

I love playing it, especially since I got the newest version for Christmas. I can burn 200 calories in litterally 10-15 minutes just for Dancing. I'm not sure how accurate it is though, but still it gets my heart pumping, and I always forget i'm working out. There are a lot of newer as well as older songs (Shout, Funky Town, etc) and japanese songs too. It's just a good workout for those who hate to: run, bike, walk, lift weights, swim, etc (ME!)

Oh, I get too carried away with my DDR I have to go play...er ah...workout now

that ddr thing sounds fun, what is it on other than playstation? that would even be fun at a party. they give you the dance steps and then you follow them on a pad??

Yup! The dance pad is pretty sensitive, so you don't even have to hit stomp hard. The arrows go up and they usually follow the songs beats. Konami makes them, so I would do a search. I think Ultramix is one for XBox, and the Mario is the only one for Gamecube and even though its pretty fun, all the songs are Mario based, so it can get boring pretty easily. I believe they also make one for your PC and one you just hook into your TV without a game system but I bought the one for the TV and it sucks big time. You can definitely tell it was made in China! LOL. I actually bought a used Playstation system myself just to be able to play DDR!!! But, it was a $90 investment worthwhile.
