Wow, you guys are so inspiring!

I really hope I can make good choices when I'm off phen. Thats the hardest thing when losing weight and being a teenager/young adult. I should be having fun and not worrying about food right? Yea, think again.

I am willing to work hard at maintaining my weight loss because I know I will be happier. I want to live a long healthy life, and not have to worry about my weight...well worry about losing it anyway

One of the ways I used to make sure I didn't gain the weight back that I lost was to get rid of my "fat" clothes. As I lost the weight and my clothes got big on me I would give them away. It kept me going in the right direction,as well as the fact that the smaller I got the cuter my new clothes were.

Not only could I gain it all back, but I HAVE done that all my life, over and over and over and over!
THIS trip down the scale had me searching for other answers. Before, I was simply unable to control what I ate. I had BAD habits and reinforced them daily with sweet snacks and simple carbs like white breads, French Fries, etc.
You have undoubtably heard that in order to get a different result tomorrow, you must do something differently today...
This time I used the extra measure of hunger control and the accountability called for by being in this group of members on PhenForum to bolster eating correctly and exercising daily. I have some physical handicaps so at first I just did bottom squuezes or leg lifts during each commercial on TV! If teaching, I would use every hour to squeeze or lift or move for 2-3 minutes. At the end of the day it added up to a good amount of exercise!

I kept following healthy habits and found that after I reached my goal, my new habits kept that intense hunger far, far away! I might slip up every now and again, but that drive toward cakes, doughnuts, etc is MUCH easier to control than before.
Anyone else agree?

It is important to remember that phen alone isn't an answer it is simply just a small part of the equation. As by changing life habbits is going to ensure as best as it can that the weight you loose remains off for longer and hopefully for good.

A change of diet + phen + exercise = healthy maintainable weight loss once the phen is stopped.

I think being on phen gave me that extra push to want to change my lifestyle. I never worried about the calories that were in the stuff i was eating or what i was eating for that matter. Sodas to me where like water, it was nothing for me to drink a 6 pack if not more a day. Since ive been on phen i stopped drinking soda's and drink water alot now, which i never touched before, I count every calorie that goes in. I love that i have a new outlook and the biggest help was joining the forum, you guys have helped me out since i started and I just want to thank eveyone on here for the support..Love you guys!!
