Today was my two-week anniversary for being on the Phen. I've lost 10lbs so far. I really feel like I probably could have lost more if I had stuck to my goals that I set for this week, but with the stress and hectic nature that a new semester brings I just didn't make it happen. My co-worker and I have started walking for about 25 minutes every day which feels really good. We both get feel a rush when we get back to the office afterwards.

The biggest problem that I'm having right now is taking the time to plan out and execute the whole "eating every 2-3 hours" thing. It's tough to plan for that and carry it all with me when I'm running between my full-time job and my full-time college career. Any ideas on portable, cheap and quick foods that would suit my lifestyle?

Also, I'm having a hard time giving up going out two or three times a week to Cheddar's or On The Border and having a meal and drinks. I haven't had much of a problem not drinking at home (I blame Budweiser for much of my weight gain), but when I eat out at Cheddars I just can't resist the World Class Margarita with Sangria Swirl...exactly how bad is that for my diet anyway?

I suppose the fact that I'm currently low on funding and rent is nearly due will keep me out of the restaurants for a little while. There's a silver lining to everything...being poor means eating less!

I love Lean Cusines...They are portable (I take them to work), they have really good choices, and are about 300 calories. My favorites are the ones with Alfredo, very yummy. Theres also the weight watcher meals, but I personally think the LC taste better.

It can be really hard to work, go to school and try to achieve your weekly goals all at the same time. But remember, you didn't learn all your bad behaviors in one week, so why should you relearn new ones in a week? Walking during your break is an awesome start, and losing 3 pounds is fantastic.

All you really should do is focus on a few things right now, like eating out less and drinking more water. Eventually as the weeks pass on you can add more in, because those other things will become natural habit, and it won't seem so overwhelming. Keep it up!

Congrats on the 10 lbs loss, that is great. How about some protein bars, they are portable. Small bags of carrots and celery are portable. I usually eat tuna for lunch. Today I had some God-awful Cambells soup, trust me it was not Mmmm Mmmm Good!
