Pooh - I'm really sorry you're having to be subjected to weight-related bigotry and prejudice. I have the same issue at work... although not to the same degree as you. I have a co-worker who always finds ways to make "jokes" and comments about my weight. It sucks.
The only thing I would say, is don't challenge these guys in any way. If this is a "group" of 17 year old boys, they could do physical harm to you if you engage them. Not saying they would, but a woman walking alone must be careful. They're obviously full of hatred anyway, so I'd be careful. I also wouldn't walk by them wearing a headset so I couldn't hear them. Once again... whether it's them or someone else, a woman walking alone needs to be aware of their surroundings at all times. I'd take a different walking route. But don't stop walking! I know it sucks to think, "well, I gave into them"... but you're not. You're simply being smart and protecting yourself. Hang in there!! Your weight loss is an inspiration to me and others!
