I am just wondering. I have been on Phentermine 27.5 mg for 3 weeks now and I have only lost about 5 pounds? I am going to the gym 4-5 times a week and eating healthy. What's wrong? I feel like I am wasting my money, and am getting very discouraged.

Thank you all for your helpful replies. I paid £35 for 14 pills, two weeks worth. Really, really peed off. I'm going to contact the clinic and see what they say - and I was worried about buying them on the internet!!!! There are no marks or numbers at all printed on the tablets. They also gave me frusemide 40mg water tablets and some little black capsules which say vit B compound on the label. I havent swallowed any of them yet - Ill be interested to hear what they have to say. Kate

£35quid for 14pills is bluming expensive hun. I take ASDA's on b12 tablets and just regular Aqua ban when I feel that time of the month is due.

I really hope you haven't been riped off as that would be pishy.

Thanks Lea, you've been really helpful. I'll let you know what the clinic say when I've challenged them with my info! The real problem is that I still havent started my diet properly cos I havent got my pills sorted, which I know is an excuse really, but its kind of psychological as well isnt it? I have to be in the right frame of mind to diet or I dont have any willpower. I guess everyone with weight to lose is the same, its just too easy to say you'll start tomorrow and have a final blowout for dinner!! Children are off school now and that seems to make it even harder!! Still, the thought of the summer spurs me on - I have to have lost at least a stone and a half by July - that should be easy shouldnt it!!?????

stone & a half = 18lbs (for the Yanks who get confuddled with stones) is very doable by July. YOU CAN AND WILL do this, I am behind you in your corner as I am sure that others are as well.

Thanks Lea, you're an angel!! Just to let you know, I spoke to the clinic where i got my pills and they reckon that it was a typing error on the label!!!!???? Good one eh! Can't be bothered to get in a row, I'm not confident enough in my pharmaceutical knowledge to challenge them! Just won't go back!! Having a couple of days away as of tomorrow, and then going for a meal on saturday, so will start my diet and FAKE tabs on monday (even tho' it is easter and there will be hundreds of choccie eggs in the house!!) Lol! Speak to you when I return from sunny Wales!

have fun in RAINY WET COLD DAMP - erm WARM HOT WALES - lol! (doubt the american's will understand this)

Anyways hun that is sounding very dubious them saying a typo surely if that was the case they would of possibly informed you as other users would of brought the issue to them as well.

Iv been good, Iv avoided trips into town and avoided Woolies cos I know if I go past I will be sucked in and chocolate will be purchased.

laura-Don't be discouraged! 5lbs is still good and you may have lost inches as well. If the weight comes off slowly and consistently (1-2lbs a wk.) it's probably gone for good!
