Has anyone had pain at the injection site 2 weeks after b-12 shot? It's not constant but, about once a day every couple of days I will get a sharp pain in the muscle around where the injection site was.

Gee that's ashame. When I get B12 I'm okay and never give it a thought.
I hope it goes away. Muscle pain ....biofreeze is good to rub on it.
Wish I could be more helpful. Maybe should take the B12 under the tongue (pill). If you get the same reaction next time.

Ask them what kind of needle they are using, whether they are giving it in the muscle or tissue. That might be the problem, because certain things should only be given in the muscle and same with tissue(sublingual)

Well I talked to the nurse today, the one that gives me my injection. She said that it was probably b/c I get the B shots in the same location every time...and that the soreness is just a result from that..today, I switched sides...just curious..those who have the shot..is yours red?

Maybe they were hitting the same spot every time, who knows.

I thought they usually did the opposite side each time you got any type of injection... skinnyminny I'm glad you got it on the other side this time... maybe that pain won't get you this time around
