20# now. I have had check ups every two weeks so far and things are going great. Originally I had a increased blood pressure the 1st week and the doctor decreased my dosage by half. Last week he checked it again and it was fine and he gave me the go ahead to take the full pill again 37.5 mg. My pressures have been fine now and the side effects are gone. My husband can definately tell that the weight is coming off and he "loves" it. I have been walking daily and I have been eating very healthy. I go back to the Dr. next Monday again, who would ever think I would look forward to stepping on the scale.

That's great Val! Congratulations
It may actually work to your benefit that you started out at a lower dose....Most people lose more quickly during those 3-4 weeks. Increasing your dose right around this time may boost the loss again right when it would be most beneficial.

Keep up the good work 20 pounds in less than a month is alot to be proud of!

I have been eating sensibly and frequent small meals and protein snacks during the day. I have been drinking my water, I walk 3-4 miles daily with my baby in her stroller. My doctor and I have a wonderful relationship and he has said from the beginning of prescribing me phentermine that the pill can help with your appetitie but you will not be on this medication forever so you need to start retraining your life style and food choices...and so on. He said if you do something consistently for 6 months you will then have formed a habit...for example walking, eating healthy ect.

Good Luck..losing 4 pounds is better than gaining 4 pounds. When I kicked up my exercise I noticed a huge difference.
