I have been off phentermine for a 2 weeks now. 3 days ago I noticed I gained two pounds, this morning I gained another pound! I haven't changed my exercise or eating habits. Could this be water weight ? Has anyone else experienced this after they stopped taking phentermine? If so what is the best way to get rid of water weight?

Hi, Newlywed! Believe it ore not, one of the best ways is to drink water regularly, about 100 ounces. That only sounds like a lot until you get used to it; don't worry!

I hope you'll post more and also read what great information there is available here on PhenForum. It is trustworthy and I worry because so much HYPE is 'out there'.

Remember the pill is not magic. It is only a tool to use to undo a lifetime of (for most of us) bad food habits!

It could very well be water weight!!! Especially if you haven't been splurging or slacking in the exercise area! I carry a lot of water weight. It's really awful when I am pregnant!!! One of the first things that I noticed on phentermine was that I wasn't as puffy and I didn't feel as bad as usual when I was on my period. Susan is very right in saying water is the cure!!! Drinking more water helps your body to stay fluid and it doesn't go into survival mode and store it up thinking that you don't have enough.
