Thanks for all the support peeps!!!

Today is day 70 I'm now down to 223. That's 34 lbs.

I also need to mention that my wife has now lost 40lbs in 77 days.

It really helps having someone else in the house supporting your eating habits.

Sleep is better, dry mouth still same.

You and your wife are doing great! WOW u've both lost a bunch already you'll be at goal in no time. What type of eating plan are u both following?

To answer the question about what we are eating:

We have both cut out sweets, soft drinks (even diet ones), eating out and eating late.

I have more of a eating routine than she does.
Wake up 5:05am
Before gym I have my preworkout shake.
2 hours later, in the locker room after working out I have another protein shake. (Need protein within 1 hour of working out because your body is in a catabolic state)
3 hours later I have a chicken breast (with 10 calorie honey mustard) and either a half serving or rice or green beans, and a small portion of fruit.
3 hours later I have another Protein shake
2 hours later I have another chicken breast (with some kind of dry rub) and either rice or beans and a yogurt.
2 hours before bed I have another shake.

I know it seems bland, but I now eat to live not live to eat. I try to feed my body and not my taste buds.

For the ones that hate protein shakes, try Muscle Milk. It tastes awesome, it has some fat and about 300 calories but you do need some fat in your diet.


She eats tuna, chicken, salmon, fruit and salads (with the spray dressing 1 calorie).

I cant stand fish so I cant eat all that.

Thats about it.....

Day 77
219Lbs = 38lbs lost.

I dont know if its the routine change or what, but the weight is coming off again at a steady pace. Maybe its because I'm playing softball 3-4 nights a week.

I've completly cut out cardio the last 3 weeks. I'm still getting stronger and gaining muscle mass, I was worried that both would decease so thats a positive.

I have my 3 month goal at 215, but i will still have some work to do once I reach that.
