Hey Everyone.....i Have A Question About Water Pills. I Take A 1mg Bumetandine Every Morning When I Take My Phentermine. I Always End Up Feeling Kinda Funny All Day.dizzy, lightheaded, upset Stomach.anyways I Was At My Cousins This Weekend And I Gave Her One Of My Phentermines.she Didn't Have Any Of The Symptoms I Was Having so I Was Wondering If Maybe The Water Pills Were Making Me Fill Funny And Not The Phen.Has Anyone Else Had This Problem.I Didn't Take A Water Pill Today And I Don't Feel As Bad,but Than That Could Be More Of A Mental Thing.also If I Don't Take The Water Pill That The Doc Gave Me Do You Think That In Could Slow Down My Weight Loss.any Help Would Be Great.i Will Be Glad When I Get This All Figured Out.

Also I have had a really bad week. I weighed myself at work last week and it said that i had lost 5lbs. i bought a scale last night and it said that I had only lost 2lbs very disapointing. I have my first weigh in with the doctor on the
5th. she said that I should be down 10lbs by then.I started out great but now it seems as if I'm at a stand steel.but I'm not going to give up.There has to be something I am not doing right.i bought a notebook at the store today so that I can keep up with what I'm eating. well ta ta for now.

Hi, Steph. I haven't heard of this reaction from a normal dose of 'water pills' which are usually Lasix.

There is one called Bumetanide, which is a strong diuretic ('water pill'). It is important that you take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. You could easily be hypersensitive to it.

I'd phone the doctor, especially after your complaints, and not take it again. Drinking more will not harm your weight loss efforts. Water levels in your tissues return to normal within a few hours.
BUT, you can influence the scale for a few hours!
Always use the SAME scale, same place, same time of day. Most of us strip down, remove jewelry, and weigh after the morning void~
