Will these side effects go away??

hi everyone, i just started taking phen 37.5mg (white pill with blue speckles) 6 days ago. the first 2 days i only took half a pill in the morning about 30 mins after breakfast. the past 4 days i took a whole pill. been taking it about a half hour BEFORE breakfast in hopes of having less side effects. cuz i feel moody & irritable towards the morning. i also notice closer to the time i take the pill that i feel antsy, jittery & kinda stressed out. since i sit at a desk all day for my job that's not good. but around late afternoon i start to feel real mellow, relaxed & kinda sleepy. im thinking of just taking a half pill per day during my work week & taking a whole one on weekends. i would greatly appreciate any suggestions or comments.

p.s. it's definitely a miracle at suppressing my appetite - cant complain about that lol

I am new and going to go on Phentermine next week. I have yo-yo dieted all of my life and I don't want to lose weight AGAIN to only gain it back AGAIN. I am changing my lifestyle and am not going to diet anymore. I would love to hear from anyone just getting started, half way through, at their goal weight or someone who has kept the weight off once they no longer took the phentermine. It sounds like it can only be taken for short periods of time and then you need a break ? How long is that "break" usually? Is it safe to forever cycle on and off of it?

Hi both of you and welcome to phenforum!

Phentermine can cause your hormones to change. Some will notice their monthly cycle is late, others have a breakout, and some will notice mood disturbance. Everyone is different but it should settle after a few weeks. My cycle was out for the three months I was on phen but I didn't really care too much, as I got such great appetite suppression!

Also the reason you need a break after about three months is that your body gets used to the drug and it becomes less effective, so you need that break to get the full effects again.
