breakouts...

my face is kinda breaking out. could this be due to the phentermine? fyi: i just started back on birth control (nuvaring) so im sure thats having a hormonal effect which could cause breakouts. im jus wondering if anyone else out there experienced this or has any comments about it.

YES GIRL !! I"ve read that it is a side effect. Especially, if you have not experienced breakouts recently or in years. I have read about grinding teeth,lip biting,chewing on the inside of your cheeks,jaw pain,back pain,muscle pain,neck pain and the list goes on.

What to do about it ? Good question, maybe try some stuff on your face for breakouts,maybe it will go away. Otherwise ask your dr. (last result) since it is not serious just annoying.

The other thing you can do is maybe split your pill and only take half for the day. Other ppl have still lost weight doing that, I have read on here.

If you do not want to try that, then maybe a whole one, every other day, then.

Only other thing I can suggest is stop the med's for a week and see if it goes away. That is the only for sure way to know that phen contributed to it.

I'm sure you will get more advice soon.

My hormones were definitely affected by taking phen. Your monthly cycle often gets affected so it does not surprise me that you are getting a break out, it is all hormonal really.

Like CC said, annoying but I just accepted these little things as I got so much benefit from the appetite suppression!

wow, i've been having at least half of the side effects u mentioned LOL at least i dont feel that its just me - that makes me feel much better. thanx. starting 2morrow i'm gonna take just a half pill & see how that goes.
