Today is my first day of taking Phentermine. While Googling the name, this website came up, so I stopped by for a visit. I have been struggling with a fierce appetite for the last several years. It's not emotional eating or boredom (way too busy to be bored). I've had a variety of medical tests and nothing could explain why the "I'm full" message doesn't seem to get to my brain. My doctor prescribed the 37.5 capsules (blue on one side, white on the other with "A-167" printed on both sides); I think he said they were time release. After reading the different posts, I'm wondering what will explode first ... my head or heart? Has anyone else taken these pills before? Like/dislike? I read that some people were cutting their pills in half, but mine are capsules and can't be cut.
I know that I don't have as much weight to lose as others on these boards. I believe you can have just as hard a time losing 20 than 120. I had started working out about 4 days a week two months ago, until I strained my back. Now, I'm back ... again. Because of my long commute to work (2 hrs each way), on top of a 9 hour day, I can only workout during my lunch hour. I have seen other posts talking about headaches and racing heart rates. Will I pass out on the treadmill?? Is there any advice y'all could provide me - anything to watch out for, etc.? I am hopeful that the Phentermine will be another tool in my weight loss, although I know there is no "miracle cure."
