I will go to the other forum and post my story after this but I need help.
I started phen yesterday, I take the blue capsule from eon labs 30mg.
Feels great, no appetite.
One major downfall. A major headache. I woke up with it this morning, took some ibuprofen and it went away. Back this afternoon around 3 with some nausea added.
I know this is a side effect but how long will it last or will it ever go away. I dont know if I can handle it. I have taken more ibuprofen and have drank nothing but water no soda or anything.

Now I see you are on the 30 mg. Some capsules can be opened, but others cannot. Call you pharmacist WAAAAYY before even considering that one!

before considering what? I guess I am confused.
I was asking about the headache, is it something that will go away or do I have to live with it? I wasnt thinking of opening the capsule.
Headache and nausea is the only real side effects.

Hey Tonya,

I had the headaches too. If I remember correctly it lasted about a 1 month. As the days went by the headaches got better. But the first 2 weeks really sucked.

I also had insomnia for a while so I took Tylenol PM at night to help with the headaches and sleep. (Ok...this may round things out as TMI but there was a problem with constipation).

Hey Tonya - I am on the 37.5 prescribed phen and I had the worst headaches for the first week or so. I noticed I would get them about the same time every day (around 2pm) so I started taking some ibuprofen about an hour before and that seemed to help curb them. I also didn't know if I would be able to make it...but here I am a month and a half later (and 15 pounds lighter) with no side effects. I suggest you just give it a couple of days and take some pain meds in the meantime. Don't take more than the recommended amount - but I think in time the headaches (and any other side effects) should go away.
