Thanks for all the help I am losing a small amount of weight so I'm going to continue eating small amounts and exercising until I can see my doctor at the end of June for next month's prescription (hopefully). I will make sure to get it filled at a different pharmacy this time.

Do you think it would make a difference if I paid a bit more and got name brand Adipex?

Also, does anyone know how much weight you have to lose the first month in order for your doctor to give you another month's prescription?

Hi, Heather! Well, even though it shouldn't be happening, some people really DO report a difference when they use the name brand.

If you can afford it, PLEASE try and let us know!

well you are six pounds down already, good job. I dont know if the brand name makes a difference but I have heard that for some people it does.

I go back to the doctor on June 28.
I'm going to pick up a few extra shifts (I'm a waitress, working my way through college) so that I can afford to get the name brand Adipex next month. I'll let you all know how it works!
