Quit trying to hard. Some of YOU people will never go through ANYTHING as hard as some of US. Your overly bubblegum attitude that I'm sure is quite the lie is overwhelming to the rest of US REAL people.
Your the moderator of a forum. There is no need for you to try to give everyone e-hugs. You just p i s s some of US off.
And as for the advice for the OP to NOT take the phen. You don't know, your not a DR (I'm assuming) it is illegal for you to give medical advice. You need to figure out a different way to have a power trip... that way is going to get you in trouble.

Quite frankly, I recognize that I'm different and that to remain sober, I need to stick together with others who have had the same experiences as me - just like when it comes to weight loss, I need to stick together with others who are doing/have done the same. But I'm very sure that Utah and I have extremely different outlooks on life.
I went through a lot of bad stuff (and nobody forced drugs in me or poured booze into my mouth), but today I have a pretty bubble-gum attitude too! I think that everyone goes through very difficult things - some people just stay in such self pity that they don't recognize other people's pain.
I didn't take offense - quite the opposite. Susan, I hope you know that not all recovering addicts share the same hostile attitude and superiority-complex that others have...I love when "normies" get to see that we people who have caused so much wreckage in other people's lives can change and share our experience with others to help them.
BTW, I'm an attorney and I didn't see any sort of medical advice given in Susan's post, just support - oh, and her personal opinion and advice, which was what Rowan asked for.
