Phentermine 30mg still being made?

Last year I was taking the 30mg Phentermine capsule. It worked great for me for a few months and I lost 30 lbs. I never lost a whole lot of weight at once, more like 1-3 lbs a week which was fine with me. I was happy with the results, but towards the end of the 3rd month or so, I could tell it wasnt really helping me anymore so my doctor told me to take a break and come back after the new year. Over the months I wasnt taking it i gained about 12 lbs. Now 8 months later I did go back to the doctor and she gave me a prescription for the 37.5 phentermine (oval tabs blue with blue specs). She said that the 30 mg capsules I was taking are no longer being made. After reading posts I'm alittle confused. I think my doctor may be alittle confused? I havent been able to find any information backing up what she told me. I really prefer the 30 mg capsules. They helped control my appetite better than the ones I am currently taking. Can anyone confirm my doctors comment about the 30 mg phentermine no longer being made?

Hi, Kath..These are old. Some are very old, but you can check the maufacturers online to see if they still do business....

Thanks for the reply Susan! I'm not able to open the files though. I'm not sure if its my computer, or possibly the operator (that would be me!)

I have seen people on the forum reference taking 30 mg so that got me thinking that maybe my doctor had facts mixed up. I do get a prescription from her, my gp, and get it filled at the local pharmacy, so I think maybe I will just call them and ask them if they carry the 30 mg.

Yes, Susan is the sweetist thing isn't she and very knowledgable.

Seems odd to me because wouldn't it be up somewhere or announced somehow.

Sounds like a great idea.

That's what I would have done.

I am currently on the 30mg phentermine prescribed by my doctor, so i think urs is a little confused
