Major Swelling

The second time I went in for a refill the Dr. gave me a diffrent type of pill it was blue and had big blue specks. he said it was phen. but by a diff. manufacture. my question is has any one had the side effect of swelling of the upper and lower lips? I got so scared I went to the ER but they couldn't tell me if the pills was the cause.I swell up three diff time since then. should i stop the pills?

This sounds like a allergic reaction to me. I would stop immediately and speak with your Dr. because this is some info I've read about the side effects posted below and one is swelling of the lips.

Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur when using Phentermine:

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); bizarre behavior; chest pain; fainting; fast heartbeat; pounding in the chest; shortness of breath; swelling of the legs and feet; tremor.

Sounds like it may be a kind of allergic reaction like a dermatitis of some sort. Could it be a lip product or what you drink with the medicine or even the cup you drink from? If it were from the swallowed product itself, it seems like it would be more reactive on into the throat, stomach tube, stomach, etc.

That make sense?
