I actually tried 5-Htp a while back before I went on phen...My first thought... oh my god I godda get my mom some of this hahaha. When I first started phen for the 1st week I was not myself thinking a bunch of bitchy thoughts and being unhappy and such. I kinda took a concoction of supplements to snap me out of it.. Basically with research and help of others I found out that 5-HTP, Fish Oil, Folic Acid, and a hand full of sunflower seeds, and exercise are all mood enhancers. I can definitely say that I am content right now. Also, I found out a the key to happiness IS in the stomach. Like 2/3rds of our serotonin is made in our tummy's. So next time I'm at the store I'm gonna buy some sunflower seeds and keep them with me at all times so I can maybe eat a few every hour, yes, even if I'm not hungry. Not to many calories and it will keep my body out of starvation mode and keep me happy
