I started reductil 3 days ago. I weighed just 1lb under 13 stones.

I want to get down to ideally 11 stones or 11.5.

The reason why im taking reductil is to help me with curbing my appetite. As I always feel hungry and snack/eat constantly.

It has helped a lot.

I weighed myself today and have lost 7lbs already, but i assume that is mainly water.

I am thinking of trying phentermine for the 2nd month and was wondering whether this would be more effective in helping weight loss etc.

Advice appreciated

Alrighty, my 2 cents. I'd wait and see how much success you have with reductil, if it is working well, why mess with it? 7lb in 3 days is a lot, seems like it's working. I've lost 2lb in a week on my first week on phentermine 15mg and it's not really working as well as I'd like but I'm going to keep going. Slow is fine with me as long as its going down.

Anybody else with a wee bit more knowledge care to add anything?

S

Try and give it a full month and see what happens...since it takes time for your body to lose the weight. Try and be patient...I know you want to see results...but they will come in time. You don't want to lose it too fast...easier for it to come back on...take care!

Wow! That sounds great to me, too. I was a very slow loser. think I agree with trying it for at least 2 weeks and perhaps a month~
So many quit too soon!

thanks for the reply people.

I suppose I am a bit impatient.

I'm sure I have gained a lb back on, lol.

I will give an update on friday after a week

Oh that's not hard to do...I fluctuate naturally a pound or two day to day anyway, doesn't necessarily mean you've "gained" some back. And you'll be heavier at the end of the day than the morning. It's fluid.

Heck I weighed myself before and after doing a.... "ahem"... number two this morning - just to experiment- and it was a 1.5 lb difference.

If you weigh your self once a week you won't notice those fluctuations and changes so much.

Keep it up
