My friend, who has been taking phentermine for a while, told me which website to buy from. She told me she usually only takes half of a pill per day now since she doesn't have a lot of weight left to lose.

I bought the pills and they came in late yesterday, so I waited until this morning to open them and take one. The bottle looked pretty generic but I didn't have any expectations so I didn't worry. When I looked at the pills, they were half white/half blue capsules. I texted my friend asking her how she can take half of a capsule, and she told me they're usually white pills with blue dots. I panicked because I have already taken one of the pills.

I found this forum and a list of the different "appearances" of phentermine, and there is a blue and white capsule. However, the blue is lighter than mine, and there is black writing on it. Mine are blank. My friend is awaiting a shipment from the same website and she said hers have always been different.

Should I be concerned?

I am not sure what you taking...but maybe you can find the thread on here that shows images of the meds with the manufacturer name phen is illegal to buy online...good luck...and be careful!!

YIKES! Yes, they are a scam. Do not ever take any prescription-only pills you buy online without a prescription. They break the laws of the U.S. to sell them and cause you to break the laws when buying. It's unfortunate but since our laws of crackdowns on this became functional in January, 2007, many, many sites closed down. Our FDA and DEA laws only limit the traffic within the U.S. and all its transport systems, including mail, Fedx, UPS, etc.
Can you get your money back? Usually, if you call your credit card company ASAP and contact your bank immediately. Often the company will charge your acct using a slick name, such as Waters Factory Neutraceuticals(made up) or such. If you have an online credit card acct, find out which name they used and instruct your card issuer to never accept those charges. Folks that lie and steal WILL often return to your acct 3 months later and begin charging you again under a different name. NEVER give out your credit information.

I heard of horror stories about people being scam from those online pharmacies. I did a lot of research when I heard of phenthermine; about buying it online but I found out that the best way to be sure that you are getting the real thing is to go to a doctor for the prescription or a weightloss clinic. That way you take your prescription to any drugs store and you are sure of what your getting. Besides its better to have a doctor monitor you when taking this med. You want to make sure is safe for you to take it and that the side effects are not going to affect your health. And is cheaper to buy phentermine with a prescription.
Most of those online pharmacies are located outside the United States and their medication comes from overseas also, the laws and regulations concerning drugs outside US are not the same, so there is no telling what they are selling you. And then by giving your credit card info to those people you might end up in the whole, I've heard some take money from your account or keep charging your credit card even when you are not buying from them anymore. Good luck, and I don't want to scare you away, just trying to help because I almost made the same mistake until a friend told me what she went through.

Years ago you could buy the "real" generic phentermine on line no problem. I did back in 2003 and brought the pill to my pharmacist and he was able to tell me it was the generic Phentermine. Now a days, I don't trust ordering them on line. The DEA is trying to close down these sights and who knows..they might come after the consumers buying them. No thank you! I'll still with the legitimate doctors. :-)
