I had an appointment today and the nurse who took by blood pressure made me mad.

She said that I looked fine and didn't need to take medicine to lose weight and then she made comments about "people" not being OK with their bodies and "people" being vein.

I am still upset. She didn't ask me what my story was or why I was on Phen. She just started yapping. I was so hurt.

Thanks for letting me ramble. Some medical staff don't have any bedside manners!

You are so right. Degrees, education, or station have nothing to do with making a human connection. So many of us fail at that and it is WAAAAYYY more important than ~

You know what ? Regardless how close to your goal you may be compared to other's on that medication, we all have a right to be, at a happy weight, as long, as it is a healthy weight. As for her opinion,When your suppose to be working in that kind of profession you need to keep your thoughts to yourself sometimes. How rude !! She must see alot of ppl with very little weight to lose on that medication going there, it's not your fault that her boss must have some pretty liberal view's. If I had only 20 or 30 lbs to lose she probably would have told me the samething but, if I could have gotten that medication from that Dr. for just a month or two, I would have. Pretty hard now adays you have to have a BMI of 30 or more usually and if your's was lower and you got that medication, then I consider you very lucky and as for that medical assistant or nurse she could KISS IT !! Not meaning to offend anybody else in that profession that happens to read this. ttyl c.c.
