Hi, Jwood! Could be that as unpleasant as it is, that this un-loss was the impetus to get something else diagnosed and taken care of!

WOW!! I'm so glad I came to this forum! I had not found any side effects about twitching, jumpy muscles, but mine do! My legs don't hurt like yours, sorry to hear that. But my boyfriend keeps waking me up at asking me if I'm ok because my legs will jump and twicth constantly, all night long. I only notice right when I am about to fall asleep. I've tried stretching, walking on treadmill a little before bed, nothing works. I am losing weight tho. I hope you find a solution and get better!

Since I have started this conversation, my doctors have come to the conclusion that I may have had something else going on with my muscles and the phentermine just caused even more problems with it. I have been off of it for a while now, not too long, but already doing some better.

Have you heard of RLS? Restless leg syndrome? Turns out that through a process of eliminations, my doctor has decided to treat me for that. Once coming off the phentermine and starting a new med for RLS, I am doing much better and it hasn't been that long.

Too bad for me. Other than the muscle problem, the phentermine was a great benefit for me and I did learn to eat better while on it. It's easier to make better choices when your stomach is not screaming for food!
