I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I was wondering if anyone who has hydothyrodism has had any success with taking phen? I take .75mg of levothroxin and i've been reseraching phentermine to see if the drug will work with my condition. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Since i've been diagnosed with hypothyrodism i've gained 45 lbs and would like to lose half if not all of the weight.

Thank you! I've tried to lose the weight with working out and counting calories and have not seen any positive results. I'm beyond frustrated.

The thyroid dose is tricky because there is a certain amount your body needs. Any higher or lower than that level will cause problems, not only with goiters, weight issues, but can even super-age your bones. Go through the doctor, Sweetie Pie.
